The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to the research and re-enactment of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. We focus on education and the study of individuals, ideals, arts, sciences, and other aspects of societies between the Fall of Rome and the end of the Renaissance. Ansteorra is comprised of most of Texas and all of Oklahoma. It is sectioned into smaller, more manageable groups centered around larger cities throughout Texas and Oklahoma. The members of Ansteorra are a varied and diverse group of people, who invite you to join us in the Current Middle Ages.
